As provided for under Section 23 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997, the Board consists of a Chairperson and six other members.
The Chairperson, Ms Imelda Reynolds, was reappointed by the Government for a term of 5 years, from 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2024.
The Deputy Chairperson, Mr Micheál Ó Cinnéide, was appointed on 17 July 2019 for a period of five years up to 16 July 2024.
He assumed the role of Deputy Chairperson in February 2023.
Mr Michael Mulloy was appointed on 20 June 2023 for a period of five years up to 19 June 2028.
Mr John Evans was appointed on 17 July 2019 for a period of five years up to 16 July 2024.
Mr Bill Sweeney was appointed on 17 July 2019 for a period of five years up to 16 July 2024.
The Auditor for the Board is the Comptroller & Auditor General who are located at 3A Mayor Street Upper, Dublin 1, Dublin, D01 PF72.
